Since the adoption of China's cybersecurity law in 2016, the Chinese state has developed a comprehensive regulatory framework covering cybersecurity, data use and data protection. Companies doing business in China, and especially those that generate data in China, are required to comply with these requirements.

The series of 7 webinars   will be held every Friday and has the following schedule:

  • February 25 - Chinese Cybersecurity and Data Legislation - Overview of Institutions and Regulations
  • March 4 - China's Data Security Act and cross-border data transfer
  • March 11 - Personal Data Protection and Cross-Border Data Transfer Act
  • March 18 - Multilevel Protection Scheme 2.0 (MLPS 2.0)
  • March 25 - CIIO Regulation and its implications for manufacturing industries
  • April 1 - China's Cryptography and Use of Encryption Act
  • April 8 - Effectiveness against sustainability - How geopolitical risks pose global IT infrastructures

For members of BIA with paid membership fee until 2021 the webinars will be provided completely free of charge.

For all who are not members of BIA, participation in webinars is paid. The fee is BGN 360 with VAT for a total of 7 webinars . Registration is required by filling in the registration form. Registrations are accepted until February 23, 2022. The seats are limited!
