Mergers and acquisitions - what do we need to know?

The hybrid training will be held on March 9, 2022 from 10:00 to 14:00 in the BIA Sky Office Building, and a link to the event will be provided to registered online participants.

In times of crisis, businesses go through various stages of transformation, among which mergers and acquisitions are particularly important. This is the reason why we are preparing for the Bulgarian business online training on this topic. During the online training we will go through all the stages that an owner has to go through when he decides to find a buyer for his business. The focus will be on selling existing businesses, not on assets. The experience that will be shared is based on the environment and the deals that take place in Bulgaria, mainly with companies owned by Bulgarian entrepreneurs and not by multinational giants. Buying a competitor or selling your business happens perhaps once in your professional career, so it is important to be prepared for this step.

In this hybrid training Kaloyan Kirilov, author of the book "How to sell my company?", Will present some important aspects of mergers and acquisitions.

For the lecturer:

The guest lecturer of the online training will be Kaloyan Kirilov, an entrepreneur with about 20 years of experience. He completed an MBA with a full  scholarship at GVSU, USA, where he worked for the American Agency for Small and  medium business and for Merrill Lynch. After his return to Bulgaria he worked   for a short time in the banking sector and in 2005 he founded Synergy Group as   merger and acquisition company. Participates in a number of sales transactions  of companies or management consulting. Also in the last five  years he has been developing two of his own start-ups. This allows him to think not only   only as a consultant, but also as an entrepreneur.

Participation in the hybrid training is paid - the fee is BGN 48 with VAT. The fee includes participation in the training and receiving the book "How to sell my company?". Registration is required by filling in a registration form. Registrations are accepted until March 7, 2022.
