In this online training , Alexander Bogdanov, a specialist in Indian culture and languages, will present some important aspects of Indian culture and its features, behavior and mentality, refracted through the prism of business.

The program will cover the following topics:

First meeting: handshake, presentation, hierarchy, clothing, etc.

Relation to time - deadlines for response, deliveries, delays for meetings, etc.

Interaction between institutions - bureaucracy, level of corruption, peculiarities of Indian officials

Hiring workers, import and export, etc.

Buying behavior - customer loyalty, shopping, taboos, etc.

Mentality and cultural features - gestures, body language, habits, etc.

During lunches and dinners:

"Should we bring presents?"

- What should be our clothes?

- What can we offer them if they are our guests?

For the lecturer:

Alexander Bogdanov is a specialist in Indian culture and languages.

He graduated in Indology at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski ”and specialized at the Central Hindi Institute in Agra, India.

He has extensive teaching experience in Hindi and Sanskrit and various aspects of traditional and modern Indian culture.

He has lectured at Sofia University "Kliment Ohridski" and Aarhus University, Denmark, and is currently responsible for language training at the East-West Indological Foundation. He has been a professional translator for 15 years and has been involved in numerous research and documentary projects related to India.

Participation in the online training is paid - the fee is BGN 60 with VAT. The fee includes participation in online training. Registration is required by filling in a registration form. Registrations are accepted until March 24, 2021. A link to the event will be provided additionally to the registered and paid participants 24 hours before the start of the event.
