The event was originally planned as part of the large international exhibition for the food industry SIAL 2020 , which traditionally brings together more than 7,000 companies from over 100 countries.
As a result of the global Pavid-19 pandemic, the exhibition has been postponed to 2021. Organizers felt that in this difficult time, the food industry needed more than ever support to develop international relations and access to new markets. This is the reason why the organizers keep the possibility of holding bilateral meetings between producers and buyers, offering the options to organize the meetings live in Paris or online in the period 19-22 October 2020.
